For this science crafts for kids, you will need water, dish soap liquid, glycerin, cups, and something to blow the bubbles with. To make these simple science experiments for kids, you need to first measure six cups of water and add a cup of dish soap liquid to it. Mix it well without letting any bubbles form. Add a tablespoon of glycerin to this and mix well. You are now ready to make bubbles using this solution. Use a bubble wand to make the bubbles, or you can use a straw to do the same. #3 Build a Ferris Wheel

These science experiments for kids to do at home would be appropriate for older kids since the end product is a bit delicate. To start with, you need three popsicle sticks. Make sure to arrange that into a triangle. Glue the ends of these popsicle sticks together so that the ends of the triangle are secure. Attach two more popsicle sticks to this triangle. Keep repeating this till the whole thing forms a hexagon with six triangles. Make sure that the new triangle shares a side with the earlier triangle you made. This will be one side of your wheel. Repeat this to make the other side of the wheel. Break three popsicle sticks and attach these two together (evenly spaced). These will be your crossbars. Next, you would need to create two large triangles for the base. Use two popsicle sticks for one side of the triangle, and form an x in the top of the triangle by letting the sides meet further down from the top. Now, attach these base triangles together using popsicle sticks. Remember the paper clip? Unfold it and place it through the two wheels you have made earlier. Rest the ends of the paper clip on the crook of the base triangles. And now, your Ferris wheel is ready! You will need to fill the Ziploc bag with water (half full) and then ask the kids to poke the bag with the sharp pencils, in through one side and out through the other side.
