#2 Create your own robot hand

What is a science experiment without creating something robotic? Start with this simple experiment and pique your kid’s interest in stem projects for kids. All you need is paper, pencil, scissors, straws, and strings of yarn or twine for this project. #3 Make some gobbles

Knead and squish those balloons together, and voilà! The gobbles are ready.

#5 Do the bread mold experiment

The bread mold experiment is another fun science experiment for kids to learn about and observe how a live organism grows. All you need for this experiment are some pieces of bread, some baggies, and a sharpie. Take the bread, and expose it to a surface (say the doorknob, the floor, the wheel of a car, the table, etc). Seal it in a bag after spraying some water on it. With the help of a sharpie, note down the name of the exposed surface on the bag. Now, wait for the mold to grow. At the end of the experiment, make sure to throw away the sealed bag containing the moldy bread. Inhaling mold spores are harmful. Parental supervision is advised. This science experiment for kids may look gross, but, it helps kids learn the importance of washing hands while observing how a living organism grows. #6 Draw a food web

Another fun biology science project for kids is to draw the food web. This helps kids understand how different life forms in an ecosystem depend on each other for survival. All your kid needs is a paper and pen. Your kid can draw the food web on paper. This project for kids helps them understand how the food chain works, how energy is transferred up food chains that are interlinked with other food chains. #7 Demonstrate capillary action

Using everyday things available at home, you can blow away your kid’s mind with this simple and easy science experiment for kids. All you need are some paper towels, water, a few glasses, and some food coloring. Keep the glasses on a counter or a table in a straight line, and fill the odd-numbered glasses most of the way up with water. Add food coloring to these glasses filled with water. Take a paper towel and fold it in half. Put one end of the paper towel in one glass and the other end in the next glass. Now watch how your kid is going to be amazed to see capillary action in motion. This is also called the walking water science experiment because of how the water climbs up the paper towel because of the capillary action. This is one of the best science experiments for preschoolers. But, we are sure this will amaze kids of all ages. #8 Dissect a flower    

One of the simplest science projects for kids is dissecting a flower. It is super simple. All you need is a flower (lily, tulip, or hibiscus would be best), pen, and paper. All future botany enthusiasts will love this simple project for kids. Kids can dissect the flowers, identify the different parts of the flower and label them on paper.
